Markers (indicating pipelines)
Identification columns or markers are used to specify the route of oil, gas, optical fiber, telecommunications, etc. pipelines in order to warn and prevent pipe and cable damage along the project line. It also enables the installation of identification markers, access to cables and pipes, and quick determination of the location of failure. Markers are usually installed along the line at a distance of 1 km from each other. On the markers, the basic information of the transmission line and the meterage from the beginning of the line are inserted.
